The 2026 MECA&D Faculty Triennial Exhibition
The Institute of Contemporary Art at Maine College of Art & Design is excited to announce the 2026 MECA&D Faculty Triennial Exhibition. The Triennial will be on view from January 16 to February 21, 2026, and will be juried by a notable guest curator (TBA). We welcome all current full and part-time faculty members teaching in the BFA, MFA, or MAT, as well as those who taught at MECA&D during AY 2023/2024 and AY 2024/2025, to apply.
Submission deadline: Sept 21, 2025
● Exhibition dates: January 16 - February 21, 2026
● Guest Juror: TBA
● Eligibility: All current full and part-time faculty members teaching in the BFA, MFA, or MAT, as well as those who taught at MECA&D during AY 2023/2024 and AY 2024/2025, are encouraged to apply.
● Submission: Online submissions only accepted through our Submittable page. Artists may submit five to ten images of work to be shown; all media welcomed.
● Entry fee: There is no entry fee
Supporting Materials:
All materials submitted through our online portal at Submittable.
Materials include the following:
● Artist bio and CV
● Artist statement (up to 200 words)
● 5-10 images* of the work to be shown
● Image list: image number, title, medium, size, date
Optional: additional description if necessary
